Hi - Can you please point me towards the onboarding instructions? I bought the level 4 plan. I got into the Publisher dashboard but I think I am missing things such as how to customise the logo.

Hi and thanks for reaching out.

From the Dashboard, you can add your sites. Then, you need to verify them to demonstrate the ownership (just follow the instructions). Once done, you can configure several settings for each site, as well as get access to the historical analytics and chat transcripts.

To integrate Now4real in your sites, you need to follow the Quickstart: https://now4real.com/quickstart/

To customize the logo, just use the "logo_url" parameter (see https://now4real.com/api/Now4real.html#~Config).

I had done the quick start guide.

I assumed that there would a way to change the logo without needing to go into the API.

I also still do not understand where I chat as the Administrator. I can see chat logs but nothing shows up. I had one of my staff login and write some content and there was nothing there. I am sure that I am missing something simple.

Where do I chat as the Administrator?

Where to I put the initial welcome/rules of the chat text?

I am not a coder so I assumed that all of this would be in the User Interface.

Hi Adam,

As the Administrator, you can chat directly inside every chat, like any other user. What you can do from the chat transcripts is to remove any messages in advance (before their natural expiry) and mute users.

We are currently working on a set of new features, which will go in the direction you mentioned. In particular, it will be possible to assign roles to users, so that when they chat, they appear with a special label (like Admin, Moderator, Manager, Special Guest, etc....). You will also be able to customize the welcome messages. All these settings will be possible directly from the Dashboard, with no coding. You should expect them to be released over the next 2-3 months.
