Chat Integration in SPA Single-Page Application

We like the idea of having a "community" chat that is unique for every page of the website.

However, we are building a single-page application where each "page" the application is really just a DIV.

All participants would log into the application to start off.

Is it possible to integrate your now4real chat widget into our SPA so that all the people that are currently on a specific DIV can see each other and chat?.

Do you have an example?

At present, the context for counters and pagechats, which is given by the URL path, can only be changed by reloading the page. We have in our roadmap to expose an API method to trigger Now4real re-initialization without reloading the page. This would make SPAs work seamlessly.

The method is not yet available. We are working to release it in September or October this year.

I'm sorry to say we are targeting October for this feature. We have recently released Roles, Moderations, and Custom Word Filter. And we are now working on GIF support. SPA support is the next big thing. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Recommended enhancement - Add the ability to login just based on email. Not social accounts. Almost all users refusing to use it because it linked into their social account.

That makes sense. Email sign-in is on our roadmap, with a target release date before the end of this year.
In the meanwhile, please consider that if you already have a login mechanism on your website, perhaps based on email, you can leverage it for Now4real too, with single sign-on (Custom Auth feature).
